About this product
Texin 992A resin is a polyether-based thermoplastic polyurethane with a Shore hardness of approximately 92A*. It can be processed by injection molding, extrusion, or blow molding.
Properties / Applications:
Texin 992A resin offers outstanding abrasion resistance, impact strength, toughness and flexibility. It also exhibits excellent hydrolytic stability and microbial resistance. Typical applications include belting, hose, seals and gaskets, tubing, cable and hose jackets, athletic soles, casters, film, extruded profiles and miscellaneous molded articles. Texin 992A natural color resin complies with FDA food-contact regulations 21 CFR 175.105 (Adhesives), 177.1680 (Polyurethane Resins) and 177.2600 (Rubber Articles Intended for Repeated Use), subject to the limitations of these and any other applicable regulations. It is also listed under ANSI/NSF Standard 61 for use in potable water applications. As with any product, use of Texin 992A resin in a given application must be tested (including but not limited to field testing) in advance by the user to determine suitability.
