About this product
Texin 990AR resin is a polyether-based thermoplastic polyurethane with a Shore hardness of approximately 90A*. It contains an internal mold releaseadditive. This resin can be processed by injection molding or extrusion.
Properties / Applications:
Texin 990AR resin offers outstanding abrasion resistance, impact strength, toughness, and flexibility. It also exhibits excellent hydrolytic stability, and exceptional mold release characteristics. Texin 990AR natural color resin complies with FDA food-contact regulations 21 CFR 177.1680 (Polyurethane Resins) and 177.2600 (Rubber Articles Intended for Repeated Use), subject to the limitations of these and any other applicable regulations. It is also listed under NSF Standard 61 for use in potable water applications. Typical applications include belting, hose, seals and gaskets, tubing, cable jackets, hose jackets, athletic soles, casters, film, extruded profiles, and miscellaneous molded articles. As with any product, use of Texin 990AR resin in a given application must be tested (including field testing, etc.) in advance by the user to determine suitability.
