Marlex® Anew™ Circular Polyethylene is a process using advanced recycling technology, that can turn a used piece of plastic into a new material, again and again, and again, promoting circular economy.

Advanced recycling, sometimes referred to as “chemical recycling,” converts plastic waste to valuable liquids that can become new petrochemicals.

Plastics that are difficult to recycle through conventional methods are sent to a special facility where they are transformed into a liquid called pyrolysis oil. Grocery bags, bubble wrap, and chip bags are a few examples of items that can be processed using this approach.

At the plant, the pyrolysis oil made from plastic waste is turned into clean, safe, circular plastics that can be used in many items the world needs every day. This innovative advanced technology, allows us to reclaim valuable molecules from used plastics that would otherwise be lost to a landfill, destroyed or end up in the environment.
